Fall and Winter Birds

Photos taken Friday Oct 30, 2009 at Blacklick Woods in Reynoldsburg ,Ohio.
While birding at the nature center my wife and I observe an coppers hawk come in and land in a tree this majestic bird stay for twenty min what a exquisite site it was for all of the visitors.

As we were departing the nature center on the right side of the walkway in the grass about ten feet there was a Red Tail Hawk with a small gray squirrel.
also observes from the NC were

4 American crows flew over the pond and land in a tree.
American goldfinches
Black -capped chickadee
Dark eye juncos
Downy woodpeckers
House sparrows
6 Mallard ducks on the pond
Morning doves
Northern Cardinal
Red - Bellied Woodpeckers
Tufted Titmouse's
White throated sparrow
White Breasted Nuthatch's
4 Wood ducks on the pond

White tail deer
2 doe
2 fawn
1 buck
1 button buck
fox squirrels
gray squirrels

A great day of birding

November 22, 2009 at Blendon Woods metro park in Westersville, Ohio while birding my wife and I observed 12 wild turkeys at a feeder in the park what a great site to see we have been trying to get pictures of the wild turkey for some time there were other birds seen

Cooper’s Hawk

There was 12 turkeys in this group that afternoon.
